Hamble is a village on the edge of Southampton - not sure if dolly was named after it though!

I always wanted to see through the arched window. I loved Brian Cant and the 2 Carols. Unlike other kids probab;y, my favourite bit was the educational film thorugh the windows e.g. visiting a baked bean factory. Liking Playschool was a sin in thr playground. It was like admitting to liking Abba.

I used to love Humpty and my clever mum knitted me one. Always found Hamble a bit sinister..you could imagine her coming to life at night in a Chucky-esque stylie (((shiver)).
