My washing machine has gone mouldy.

Surely that's not supposed to happen? It has gone all mouldy around the rubber seal and I've cleaned it off once and it came straight back. It's still under warranty so should I expect be able to get something done about it? Trouble is, I know that if I ring up and they say it's not covered for that I'll just say "oh all right then, sorry"

Has this ever happened to anyone else and is it a fault on the machine? TIA

shame on you idris ..!!! God clean8ing the drawer out is the one job I HATE doing and try and put off...

Mmmm so I use a non bio and fabric softner..is this my enemy..?? I also put the liquid tablets into the drum...tut tut tut..

BTW thank god its not just me who has a smelly/mouldy drawer..!!! .

This happened to mine when I used non-perfumed washing powwder when DS was tiny, and was doing 2 loads a day.

I still can't shift allt eh mould and scum from teh door seal but now use ordinary washing powder again and it doesn;t pong anymore.

Kim & Aggie recommended one cycle on hottest wash with a cupful of soda crystals in the drawer, then repeat with half a bottle of white vinegar, and do it every 3 months.
