Do you think a 3 year old could cope with this? He was 3 quite recently, so....

The pantos at Hackney are v good(so are stratford) and i have been to several,to be honest I think your little one wouldnt last the course-- they are long ,with an interval, personally i wouldnt take a 3 yr old. However, seeings as you are in London ,i think there are tons of xmassy plays for little ones-the Unicorn theatre on Tooley st has some really fab things over christmas1

Thank you, I just looked up the Unicorn's site and it says that their stuff is for 5+. Oh, well, will take him to the Rio Cinema. Many thanks.

Can you get to the Lyric Hammersmith for thier Big ballon show? I bet that will be good. Look at Half Moon, Polka, Little Angel Marionette etc for something for younger ones.

We're taking dd2 (nearly 3) to see The Gruffalo at the Arts Theatre in London. We took the older two to see the same production a few years ago, and it was a fantastic success.

Otherwise, for tinies in the North/East London area, the Little Angel Theatre is brilliant (puppets).

There's really no point taking them to something that's too old for them, it'll just put them off the whole notion.
