I ended up in tears today because I couldn't remember my stupid PIN.

At home thanks goodness, nothing worse than crying in public. I sometimes feel that I am losing my marbles. I can't remember words and get stuck halfway through a sentence and I am always forgetting stuff. It is driving me mad and I feel like a complete idiot most of the time. Please tell me this isn't early stage alzheimers.

I can sympathise. Yesterday I lost my house keys, my car key, my purse, my credit card and only went and misplaced my purse and keys AGAIN this morning.
The keys are normally chained in my bag im such a ditzy mess.

Having children turns your mind to jelly - it's a proven fact! I have a terrible memory now (probably a combination of age, babies and alcohol) and disguise my pin numbers as phone numbers cos there a couple I can never remember.

I'm like it as well. It's so embarrassing. My Mum gets really annoyed with me because I call her and then forget what I needed to say/ask!

I find I am having terrible trouble remembering people's names. Have to almost physically pull them out of my brain, if you can understand that. Also, frequently go to the supermarket and stand still staring and thinking as I can't remember that one thing I went in for. What will we be like when we are REALLY old??

I remember a thread on here a while ago about whether women are more stupid after childbirth, and almost everyone said that they were in fact far brighter. (I was going to post that I was and am far more stupid now but felt too embarrassed).

I would like to think its because our brains are being used up on other things. Like lunch boxes and getting out the door in time, hair brushed, teeth done, snot removed, bum done, keys, money, lights off, oven off, Fancy dress, costume needed in 24 hours and 35 minutes. Got to ring for blood test results and book in smear.....
DD1 got ballet, need milk spuds and peas.
DS4s mates coming round at 6. Make the place presentable............ Thast an awful lot for a brain to take in and process day in day out and we do it without even thinking...till we cant remeber what the hell it was we were after

I shan't mention that I forgot to put DD's wellies on the other day and only noticed she was in her slippers as we crossed the road outside our house then.

LOL. I am often out the door before I realise noones hair is done. So I take the brush and do it in the car at school
