The littlest things remind us don't they?
I always feel a little sad when I smell home cooked bread - my gran was a fabulous cook and I can remember kneeding the dough, making a cross on the top and saying 'God Bless this Bread' before putting it near the fire to rise.

I would keep it too.

I planted daffodils in my friends garden when she was in hospital so it would be nice and cheery for her coming home. She never came home, & the daffodils bloomed for years afterwards. Never can see a daffodil now without it bringing her right to the forefront of my mind.

I've got a lump in my throat now. He'd probably laugh at you finding the tenner!
