Completely failed to get online yesterday what with dc swimming lessons, dropping off DrIssy on his travels, getting ds1 to the Library to get his reading challenge medal and cert and trying to not kill anything and everything in my way. Think I reduced all members of my immediate family to tears yesterday by being an Issy-with-a-very-sore-head, and runny nose, and toothache, and aching muscles. Yep, a joyess bit karma, DrIssy disappeared off for a week on the morning I woke up with a stonking cold (might explain why I was so short with DH on Friday).

Plans for today are to remember to feed kids (pizza picnic for dinner so nothing difficult), not run out of Lemsip and survive.

We are managing a duvet day. Big DS has eaten lots of toast and is having cuddles. He's tired but ok. Little DS may actually be living in Minecraft now as we've let him have his tablet as much as he wants this morning. I've dozed a bit and brushed my teeth. I'm calling that a success.

Have spent the afternoon looking a secondary school websites with DS1. Eeeeekk. He is yr5 but there is an 8 week window or something in yr6 so other parents have advised we 'the parents' start looking this year. I may have influenced so much to day that he had a meltdown that another school specified Spanish OR French.

I am in for rewatch.

I'm building up to the rewatch by watching TTOI. My ovaries have exploded several times - the whole Malcolm/Jamie dynamic is waaaayyy too sexy

It is better to look this year Anne because you can visit this time and in the summer open days too. Get more of an idea of the places. I still can't believe my DS starts y7 in two weeks. Going to be so strange just taking and picking up little DS. I've just ordered online the uniform I still hadn't got so that's a weight off my mind.
