Sadly I think many men are more self-centred (nature or nurture? Now there's a question ) This morning I got a text from ex announcing (note, not asking) that he'd pick up the DC's over an hour later than planned this afternoon. I replied to say it was a good job I didn't have any plans, and I suspect he thinks I was being arsey. Separated and he still takes me for granted

Yes letus, he really does have his moments. Trouble is he's really not that good with criticism & thinks he's better at accepting it than he is. And I suspect that it's only human nature to accept criticism from your ex more reluctantly than from anyone else .
