Thursday is Thanksgiving. Like many others, it's been a hard year for us but it made me consider what I am grateful for.

Here's my list, so far:

  • 1 happy, healthy DS who helped me get through a horrible time. We made it through our first year together, yeah!

  • An amazing group of friends, without whom I don't think I'd have survived

  • The internet for enabling me to stay in contact with family & friends far away

  • Mumsnet

Anyone else?

Also, in a wierd way, i am thankful that i know really know what its like to be poor. That way if we ever have a few £'s spare its really valued and the boys get treats the wouldn't normally have

A beautiful autumn day, my kids, my DH and my dog. Most of all I'm happy to be me, flawed, human but still ok!

I am very very thankful to have my fantastic dh, two amazing children who are the lights of my life, my gorgeous dog, my cosy little house, an extremely hardworking dh which allows me to be a sahm and have a little money for the odd treat such as a nice bottle of wine, and lastly the fact that for the past 2 years my depression has been under control allowing me to enjoy all the wonderful things in my life.
