How can I get around with three children of three and under

I had my first two children close together and have managed fine with a three-wheeler double buggy and am now using an umbrella pram for the smaller one and dd walking (she' nearly 3), although she gets tired.
I wanted to get a buggy board to fit the double pram for when our third comes along in a few months, but my local supplier says the buggyboard won't fit the mothercare double buggy we've got. Will I have to resign myself to not going for long outings with all three of them, or has anyone else found a solution to this?

You could try a baby sling for the little one, if you like those, depends what you're doing and where you're going I think. Have you tried taking your buggy to the supplier and asking if they'll at least have a look to see if it will fit? Do Mothercare have their own buggyboard brand that would fit? Good luck

i would look at the buggy board official web site...i will find it later.
it seems to fit almost everything...loads of different attachments available, i think.

ours doesnt fit 100% but have no problems with it

Mog I had three in exactly 3 years and pushed them round in a tandem buggy (one in front of the other)- graco, £95, with the eldest perched on the side of the front seat. Sometimes I placed a piece of wood across for him to sit on but he was quite good at perching sideways without the wooden plank.

This will be me in September - isn't pushing 3 heavy? I find 2 (3 years and 11 months) tough - I have a maclaren with a buggy board or an all terrain where DS perches on front wheel, i'm trying to train him to walk long distances but he's not keen!

I had two really young i have a little tikes tandum, it was heavy going, i had to carry it upstaires and everything. I used a sling alot and a stroller when my ds was tiny and so when my dd1 wanted to walk i used to put ds in the buggy to give me a rest from carrying him, i am sure there's something out there that you could do. Sorry not much help, but i know how difficult it is when you've got little ones.

would it be possible to find a lightweight umbrellafold double buggy with fully reclinable seats (so you can put a newborn in and fit a cositoes for him/her just so he/she is comfy) with a buggy board fitted at the back. i think mclaren do the best lightweight buggies around (worth looking for a secondhand one as i imagine they're quite expensive). also buggyboards come in a seat or single board option for standing on. worth e-mailing the buggy board people as suggested earlier.

I was told by the manaufacturers of the buggyboards that a kiddyboard would fit my 3 wheeler double - so far I have avoided getting one but DS (3.5) does moan a bit at walking more than about 10 mins. I would try telephoning them as they look it up on theri computers and can advise much better than my local shop who said they wouldn't fit.
