Raining here, but the chickens have nice fresh bedding and I've pulled up loads of nettles. Flight says it's taking off on time so fingers crossed we'll see the plane, and not just noisy cloud cover

We are all lying around stuffed. Biiiig Sunday lunch of a whole salmon (not each ) jerseys, green beans and roasted beetroot. 'Twas luurvely.

Thank you for asking Floppers. So far, only a few days in it's extraordinarily quiet and peaceful SO FAR. Small ruckus about having to do the recycling but that's normal. Casanova seems very keen on the current gf (don't know if you read the suck my t shirt thing last week). She came round this morning looking very demure in a yellow sundress. Which didn't have 'cunt' or similar emblazoned on it. Which was nice

Also loving Mouse and her protest tactics. Takes your mind off the feckin awful lyrics for a while anyhow?

Need to start cooking some dinners for this week but feeling VERY lazy.

Also Badders I think you are a fab person for cooking and taking round meals. Hard when you rarely get appreciation but I think in the long run you will be secure in the knowledge that you did the right thing and I always think it's really important for your children to see how older people need helping.

Also, love Apricot and Helen's S3 ideas. I'm thinking the flashbacks could be v much a part of it.

Well we got soaked but actually had a fab afternoon of the kids running feral. They are all in the bath and I need to rustle up some dinner and actually locate some clean clothes for tomorrow which may mean pissing off the neighbours washing all bloody evening.

Silver lining is I have this waiting for me at the end of it all.

I live the high life! We have had our whole house, carpets cleaned. And the best bbq with a nice bottle of red.

Btw Fact I found out today: 50 shades director is a british woman called sam taylor johnson, aged 48. And married to a 25-year-old rather hot actor, aaron taylor johnson, of Avengers and Kick Ass fame (film which I watched last night and was fluppin brilliant).

And I thought, well done love. As it's considered pretty normal for men to have wives that much younger than them, but it hardly ever happens the other way around.
