It's a 12A. They've seen 12As before. My 10 yr old has seen 12As before, but this has "real"-style violence. He's gagging to go: should I take him?

I am gobsmacked that anyone would let a 5 year old see this film. It's far to violent. I mean why? it's just bizarre IMO

i am a real bint and limit tv and censor what they can and cannot watch. having said that my 3 year old LOVES pirates of the Carribean.

i am with xenia on this one

I have read the thread - maybe I'm thick, but I don't see where anyone has said why they took a 5 year old to a 12A film. The only reasons as far as I cansee are that they are James Bond fans and they wanted to go. Well. leaving aside the point about whether 5 year olds should be james Bond fans in the first place...

No way would I take the kids to see new James Bond film, I'd spend too much time pandering to their needs and not enough to mine - drooling over Daniel Craig !!
