I've bought two bunches of red roses to decorate garlands to sell at the school Christmas fair ...

Stick them on a radiator? Or will that just make them wilt?

If anyone's ever done this before I'd be grateful for their tips. I'm sure commercially they stick them in that stuff - what's it called - but buying that's going beyond the beyonds.

MIL used to dry roses and use to submerge them in a tub of very fine sand so they'd dry but not too much on top that they'd get crushed. HTH

Tie them with string at the base of the stem in small bunches and hang them upside down in a warm dry place like the airing cupboard and makesure they are not touched or disturbed for about 4 weeks.

I have never tried this but have heard of it before.
