If you feel she is well enough to go to school, and the school have agreed to give her 1 dose of medicine, I can't see them having a problem giving her an extra dose.
It would be best to put in writing though, which one she needs and when so there is no confusion. Some schools query if a child is on AB's, are they well enough to be in school. I do send my kids to school, even if they are on AB's if I feel they are well enough.

easiest solution is keep her at home, who cares what the school thinks!
They will not think you are being neurotic anyway, they will know you are taking care of your DD.

Oh rickman, you have my sympathy. Ds has eczema and has had impetigo a couple of times and infected eczema which needed AB's. I know how hard it is fitting one course of AB's into the school day but two!

Did dd see same GP?

I know how you feel about her missing school but maybe best to get these infections under control without her picking up anything else.

All the best xx

Hi Rickman, hope things are slightly better. Regarding the lumps in the ABs, did they ask you to keep them in the fridge? some need to be kept cool, it should say something in the bottle.

I'm of the opinion of keeping her home, you may ask the teacher to send the homework if any to keep her updated.

I hope things get better very soon, and get some probiotics ready, she will need them to help her digestion after the ABs. As for the food, let her choose whatever she wants to eat (I suspect she would not feel very attracted by the foods that are going to be heavy for his tummy so, even if it's just bread, as long as she feels like eating them she will be fine)
