I don't understand all the fuss about car seat laws.

Why don't people have them anyway? Whether its law or not, you want your children to be safe right?

I wouldn't let my DC go in a car without a car seat whether it was law or not. Years ago, we'd been on a day trip with the PIL and DD (then 3) wanted to travel home in their car - I went to my car to undo the carseat and when I got to their car, MIL had sat DD on a cushion - it wasn't law then, but there was no WAY she was travelling like that.

Carry the flag Threebob (soon to be Fourbob?)

Not until the end of Feb. Ds says "but I've been 3 for ages mum".

I think if I could keep him this age forever I probably would.

Ah, yes, I LOVED 3 ... fab age ...
DD will be 3 in February ...
I found 4 for DS quite hard ... but I think that was more because DD came along and he had a serious nose out of joint situation going on.
5 was good ... 6 - Mr Attitude ... 7 remains to be seen.

Belated thanks to all those who responded to my school taxi question! I'm going to look into it a bit more, and hopefully they will agree to use a booster that I will provide, and the school will store during the day.
