How much mess does your child make at mealtime.

DS 4.75 usually ends up with it all over his hands and a little on the table. Is this normal for his age.

We eat mainly with our hands as is dhs culture and the type of food we eat. Curry is far nicer eaten using fingers mmmmm

My ds can eat quite nicely, but it depends if he's tired/grumpy or not.

Tonight he was quite tired, but ate his chicken Korma wih rice and naan very well. He was covered in grains of rice at the end, but he stood up, shook them off and our dog cleared them up.

He will not wipe his hands tho, except down his clothes. He now looks at us and grins while he does it, so I'm trying to ignore it ATM, to stop it being his favourite 'naughty trick'
