Blu · 09/10/2006 12:55

Little tubs of Green and Blacks ice cream at the Ritzy cinema - they add up to £22 per litre!!

£22 per litre for ice cream!

bluejelly · 09/10/2006 12:56

Nutcracker-- your bro eats fem wipes?

northerner · 09/10/2006 12:57

Blu · 09/10/2006 12:57

'Customer Services' lines you have to pay 10p a minute for to listen to vivaldi for 20mins.

Why do we have to pay to get a fault rectified or to complain to a company that has given bad service??

babster · 09/10/2006 13:02

Plug-in air fresheners with whizzy fans, dosing devices etc. They all make me gag. Open the window ffs!

wallflower · 09/10/2006 13:03

frozen yorkshire puddings
scented feminine hygiene bags
grated cheese

hulababy · 09/10/2006 13:06

LOL wall flower. I have 2 out of 3 of them in my house right now! Frozen Yorkies as too lazy after work to make them and DD loves them. Grated cheese - got some for DD and her friends tonight to thrown on top of their pizzas they are going to make.

Think number 2 is no different to scented nappy bags.

hunkermunster · 09/10/2006 13:16

Oh, too many things are making me laugh on this thread!

Firstly, NQC - ROFL at "The papercuts alone ... "

Secondly, SM's "smeg wipes" (not hers, you understand!) - yes, why is it somehow that a vulva must at all times smell of flowers when chesneys can smell of what they wish?

And Cod...you always go to the loo at midday to smell your laundry-fresh keks? Is this one of your famous pronouncements, like we all must only use our dishwashers once a day (I used mine thrice yesterday and thought of you ).

messagedeleted · 09/10/2006 13:20

yes

they do smell nice

you knwo if oy haev a long day womehere - maybe travelleing or shopping or working?
welle laundry fresh pant liners make you feel fresher halfway through
(sounding liek an advert emoticon)

bluejelly · 09/10/2006 13:22

I think Cod's laundry fresh feelings should be quote of the week

messagedeleted · 09/10/2006 13:22

BARF at myself

where cd

bluejelly · 09/10/2006 13:22

Sure beats anything HM related

northerner · 09/10/2006 13:23

So if you don't have your laundry fresh panty liner in you pull down your keks at mid day and think 'Yuk, me minge is kicking out a right pong' ala Avid Merrion?

Personally, mine smells naturally laundry fresh

ScareyCaligulaCorday · 09/10/2006 13:26

PC World - 'cheap' computers. But they don't have Word, so you have to buy that, then they don't have a disc drive, so you have to buy that, then they don't have game-playing capacity, so you can do %*-all with them really and could have got a better one from Dell for half the price.

"For your convenience and added-value service, we are now going to torture you with an automated call misdirection service. For XYZ enter 1, for ABC enter 2, etc etc, for all other queries please hold and we will transfer you to the same call centre in Outer Mongolia to which you would have been transfered in any case.

We are experiencing higher volumes of call than usual at the moment. We do value your call and the first available agent will take your call shortly.

NotQuiteCockney · 09/10/2006 14:38

There's a cheesy (ha ha) American novel in which a bunch of women decide that Eau du Fanjo is the best smell possible and start dabbing it behind their ears, in a rebellion against perfume etc etc.

NotQuiteCockney · 09/10/2006 14:39

(Oh, and I'm glad others appreciated the "map and NT membership as a substitute for fadgewash" ... I was pretty much PMSL about it while posting, and fearing the cleaner might come find my creased up over my keyb)

FrannyandZooey · 09/10/2006 14:44

I like the smell of fanjo

is that Wrong of me?

bluejelly · 09/10/2006 14:45
