Our DD is in reception at a very good primary school. We are now in the process of buying a house 5 miles from the school (shared ownership opportunity, hence having to move to next town). We are more than happy for her to continue at this school until the end of year 6. Trouble is the new house is in a different catchment area (by a tiny margin - it's right on the edge of the line) from what I can see on the council website. There's only one secondary school in both our current catchment area, and the one we will be moving to. Both seem fairly good, but the majority of her friends will be going to the secondary in our current area, because of it's proximity to the primary school she is at. Does anyone know if because she is at a feeder school for our currently local secondary, she may be able to attend that one, instead of the one closest to our new house?
