I've been looking at these ( there is a bigger one as well but I'm not sure if you can buy the covers and safety enclosures separately.

Has anybody bought one from Argos - and if so what did you think of it - are they ok?

Did see a bargain one in B and Q at the end of last summer. It seemed very cheap - about 140 quidish- and looked the same as the pricey ones. Maybe it was in an end of season sale? But might be worth checking them out.

Supertramp is the best, the beds are similar, but the pads (bit round outside) are much much better than the cheaper ones. The Tp is proabably the second best.
My BIG tip is to sink the trampoline in the ground. Leave the bed 4" proud of ground (to let the air in and out). Will take a mini digger @ 2 hours at £20 per hour, money v well spent. Ours (18m 5 and 6) are never off it... No prob about getting on and off, no worry about a long fall and they look so much better..
With out doubt the most used present we have bought.

Ours is a 14ft round one. There is actually a picture of a rectangular one dug in in the Supertramp brochure, but do go for a round one, OK for multiple users.
Instructions

  1. assemble galvonised frame 2 place trampoline in position. Mark where the feet touch the ground with spray paint.
  2. remove frame and call mini digger. Dig the four trences deep enough for the frame top to sit 4" above ground level.
  3. Mark the round area in the middle where the bed covers and digout. The sides need only slope at 45 degrees from where the bed starts, not the springs. This will prevent the sides falling in. The middle of the hole needs to be the same depth as the frame is high.
  4. fill the four leg trenches with 6" of sand then backfill with soil.

You will be surprised by the amount of soil produced! One pos solutions is; only dig the trampoline half in but use the soil to raise the ground level around the bed, seen this and it does work okish. Kids also tend to roll down rather than land flat!

If you want pictures of fully or half sunk tramoplines email me at [email protected]

Prices are fixed, even buying multiple trampolines I only managed a very small discount.

Our kids and their freinds have witout question made it the most cost effective present we have bought so far. Highly recommended!
