This one is much harder isn't it?
For me, I would like to have paid off the mortgage, sold the house and on a sabatical around the world with two kids and DH in tow.

Living on Orkney with a handful of children, growing some veg and writing novels.

I would also like to be doing that tomorrow!

Who the hell knows?

I don't really believe in 'plans' as 10 years ago, I NEVER thought I'd be where I am now.

Just read this morning that you can actually send yourself emails into the future. Excerpt from the story:

"the service offered by futureme.org, a website that stores time-released e-mails, sent to their writer, or another address, between 30 days and 30 years later.

Since it was set up in 2004, the site has had more than 316,000 entries, from simple reminders of anniversaries or birthdays to lengthy treatises on the writer's current situation and future goals."

Do you think it's a good idea?

throckenholt · 25/09/2006 10:00

what are the chances of having the same email address whenever ?

In answer to the original post - no idea - hopefully with well adjusted teenagers, still with DH and doing something relatively interesting and/or rewarding with my life.

I would like to be living between Ireland and the Uk with dp(hopefully by then dh) and dd(hopefully the dsc's will be looking after them selves by then). I will have a sucessful career and dh will too, we will be on the way to being financially secure and we will have time to spend together.

Living with a gorgeous millionair, running my own not for profit childrens home.

helping to coach my DS through his GCSE's and watching DD practice whatever instrument/sport/activity she enjoys

Oh and a size 10!

SSSandy · 25/09/2006 10:17

hovely · 25/09/2006 10:42

whatever I am doing I can't escape the rather horrifying thought that I will be 50
...40 is fine, 's a doddle, but 50!!
that means it really will be time to grow up
better start that yoga asap
(apologies to all 50+ MNers, nothing personal, maybe you are looking at 60+ with the same feeling?)
