You start a thread and I'll meet you there

NQC - ah I remember reading a thread of yours a short while back, re biking and running and feeling tired IIRC. I remember thinking, I'm not surprised you're tired lol!

WriggleJiggle · 25/09/2006 21:29

I'm with you on this one Charliecat. I can't be doing with all that diet nonsense. Sometimes I try and eat especially healthily - usually after scoffing loads and loads of chocolate .

No,I haven't ever been on a diet of any sort & haven't any idea what calories are in what food.I have been the same size & weight since I was about 16,apart from when I was pregnant.I just can't seem to put on weight,no matter what I eat.

However,I have just come back from a two week holiday & have put 1/2 a stone! I am quite pleased as I am probably still 'underweight' according to the charts.I am back at work this week & do a very physical, labour intensive job,so it may all disappear again.Arghhh!

saggarmakersbottomknocker, the tiredness is getting better. But I may have two weeks of 4x20 minutes/day biking, which will mean no more running, and possible constant exhaustion. Time to start finding parents to do school run swaps with, I think.

Interesting that a few people have mentioned their metabolism slowing. I am 33 and have found this, this year although it is also linked to a lack of exercise. I have put on about 2lb a month this year which amounts to a stone. Obviously this cannot go on indefinitely.
