I am looking to buy a car and have got down to 2 and have test drove them both this morning. Now I can't decide and want anyones opions TIA
Clio-V reg , 1.4,5 door, most of the extras, (apparently was top of the range model when new!), 1 years warrrenty, tax?(may be able to get some deal?)

Polo- T reg,4 door,1.6,has a tow-bar but boot is bigger, air bags, can't remember about windows ,tape player, 3 months warrenty , 6 months tax, ahd a very
stiff clutch when I drove it( but man said it has just arrived and will be fitting new something?)

As you can see I am not very technical and need all the help I can get!!!!!!

Its all far too confusing for me!
I was all set to get the Clio and my Grandad gave me some more money to buy a car (so I can't use it for anything else!)and I now am looking at much more expensive cars and am not looking for anything specific!

how about skoda?

they are vws in an uncool packaging. same engine etc.

a fabia would be equivalent to a clio. i don't think you'd struggle to find one for £5000

we have one-its great. no probs, except that I keep crashing it

V-reg was on original budget of 2-3K!Have been looking at 03/04/05 53/54/55

Looked at Skoda garage today but they didn't have much in

having driven both a clio and polo - I preferred the clio. Dh had one that was fab (x-reg - brand new when we were living in the UK) and I loved driving it. Seemed very nippy, easy to handle. Plenty of room inside. Fit car seats etc across the back seat.

skoda are a serious bargain.

chase them up
