I needed one just after DS was born. He's two is two weeks

2Happy · 15/09/2006 11:04

Thanks, mygirllollipop. Does bfing make it more likely you'll have an abnormal smear?

I'm still due one, still not been. Nothing to do with scaredy cat-ness, just haven't been arsed to make the appt.

I had never had one until this Tuesday. Very naughty girl( and also 32). My boyfriend persuaded me, hassled me on a daily basis. On Tuesday he turned up to babysit and chucked me out of the house so i had no excuses. I was really scared for some reason. Anyway, i don't know why i made such a fuss, it was fine and now i have one less thing preying on my mind.

Have never had one

Everytime I have had a reminder I have been pregnant. I will make an appointment pronto.

Thanks again, mygirllolipop! I had one in Nov which was borderline (and ds was exclusively bf). Was therefore due a repeat, but am pg () and I was wondering whether or not I should bother having another smear after the baby is born as I hope to still be bfing. I don't really want to end up with colposcopy because of lots of borderlines. So I was going to delay the smear. But then again, I have only just stopped feeding ds at 15m and that's because he self-weaned, so it could be a very long time until I'm not either pg or bfing, so maybe I should just get one done post-natally anyway! Sigh.
