Brighton - good toddler groups?

I've just moved to Brighton and would really like to know where any good toddler drop ins, music classes etc are. I've had a look in ABC magazine and some are listed, but don't know which are any good. I live in the Seven Dials area.

Thanks

There's a great one near you on Tuesday mornings in St Nicholas' church in the churchyard near the bottom of Dyke Road. I haven't been for a good while but I remember it being a busy one and a friendly one too. Starts a 10 I think and fill's up quick finishes around 11.15 with a great sing-song. I met some really nice people there.

Holland Road Baptist Church run one on Tues and Thurs mornings at 9.30. It is so popular though, you have to get there by 9.10 or you won't get in! (They limit it to 25 families). It's lovely, really well-run.

I would strongly recommend Kindaroo, the organiser Cherry is lovely and she does different classes at different places. It's a combination of music, movement, dressing up, and little games. I am pretty sure her number is in ABC.

Gymboree is good fun but rather expensive IMO, although the soft play equipment is good.

baby boogie in the libraries is very popular and a free drop-in.

It's the road behind Davigdor/Somerhill schools - runs down to the sea, past Palmeira square.
