Beetroot has posted the most amazing link to a statue in France that was modeled on her grand mother.

I think there's a link to being immune to plague and immune to HIV - think someone was doing some research into that?

I am a cousin (however many removed) from the guy who this place is named after.

Dh is related to the family that own this place. Unfortunately very distantly related (his ancestor got disinherited!).
