If someone asks you to babsit and you apologise and say you can't do you then get totally p!ssed off if

almost as though they're judging whether you're social life is as important as theirs

and whilst I'm on the subject .. why do I feel the need to make up some huge excuse why I can't and say things like 'I'm really sorry because I owe you a babysit' when in actual fact I don't and they owe me about 44 zillion babysits for the amount of times I've had their snot-nosed brat

Had to cancel the picnic because the weather was crud. We'd have all been cold and wet and miserable. Was a real bummer.
