you have to refund, but it is annoying I agree.

Personally I would refund the £2. It is not worth damaging your Ebaby reputation over a £2 teething ring imo.

fattiemumma · 27/08/2006 21:43

to be fair the buyer made an honest mistake.
i think you should refund then item and claim your sellers fee's back by mutual agreement. Ebay will refund your listing fee's so that you can re list.

why should the buyer pay for something she hasn't received?

Are you sure it'd cost that much to post to the US? It cant be very heavy or bulky.

Thought I saw a bit somewhere that said sellers have the right to revise postage costs?

Refund the money. Even if they are wrong, it is not worth it to risk a bad feedback for just 2 pounds.

Pixiefish · 27/08/2006 21:47

I won't selloutside the UK- this saves this sort of hassle

hairymclary · 27/08/2006 21:49

i think you can also file a complaint for a non-paying buyer. after all it is his own fault for not reading it properly

but i do agree with the others that it may be better to just refund it rather than risk getting negative feedback

Can you call paypal support and ask?

TenaLady · 27/08/2006 22:20

This happened to me when I was bidding on a dinosaur but the seller had updated the postage and packing amount and i hadnt seen it. By the time I would of paid his postage and packing I may as well bought the new equivelant in Woollies. We agreed to split the difference on the postage.
