melsy · 22/03/2004 09:04

I thought twinkie was going on GMTV, Is Thomcat also going on???? What did I miss with the reiki , I had my first one on Friday.

Twinkie · 22/03/2004 09:29

No No No - please - I don't want to be an international media star - that's Thomcat's job!!!

Ooooohhhhh have even been out and bought a clean new video tape so that I can tape it!! Can't wait

melsy · 22/03/2004 09:36

Glad I haven't missed Thomcat but have now ended up watching Trisha which has a horrendous couple of families haggling over a baby - waiting for DNA result. What has TV stooped to

wobblyknicks · 22/03/2004 09:50

mears - my mum's got "now you're talking" on, all they're doing is arguing about old people!

Thomcat · 22/03/2004 11:27

Hi girls, think it's happening either wednesday or Thursday. Just want it over and done with now!
The DSA and DSET both rang to say thank you so there's no way I get out of doing it unless they cancel it on me!

When i hear more I will let you know though

alibubbles · 22/03/2004 13:17

Thomcat, did you see the article in the Mail on Sunday mag about a lady with a litle girl who has DS? If not I'll keep it for you

Thomcat · 22/03/2004 14:47

I didn't Alibubbles no, what was it like, wonderful and positive i hope.
It would be great to see it. i keep all the positive stories I find in lotties box for when she is older.

SoupDragon · 22/03/2004 15:55

Bought Eve yesterday and can't wait for the GMTV slot! Speaking of positive arrticles, The Times magazine last weekend had the female vicar who was campaining about the cleft lip/palate termination speaking about her brother who has DS and then him talking about her. Very nice piece.

is GMTV only available in London? I'm not familiar with daytime TV (not snooty , just so disorganised I never seem to have time to go for a wee, nevermind watch telly), will I be able to see it in N. Yorks.?

fio2 · 22/03/2004 17:20

of course you will it is on ITV starts dead early but on til about 9.30 me thinks

Janstar · 24/03/2004 08:22

Is it today then?

wobblyknicks · 24/03/2004 08:39

Am interested to know too - will it be today or tomorrow?

mez75 · 24/03/2004 08:41

Im watching it now but they haven't mentioned it yet!

wobblyknicks · 24/03/2004 08:42

AM watching it to, that's why I was wondering. Now they're just doing something on back pain and patches.

mez75 · 24/03/2004 08:45

Was that her in the pink top?

wobblyknicks · 24/03/2004 08:48

Sorry, am not watching, am just listening. What was the pink top woman talking about?

mez75 · 24/03/2004 08:50

Not sure as ds started to cry and couldn't hear. I think it's something to do with fertility?

Agy · 24/03/2004 08:52

they're talking about clamyddia now. think they would have anything with small child on first. perhaps its tomorrow.

mez75 · 24/03/2004 08:52

No don't think it's her she is talking about STD's

wobblyknicks · 24/03/2004 08:53
