got that horrible gut wrenching fear again. not had it for ages. keep thinking soemthing will happen soon.

i thought of lucy and had a strong vision of transplant on the day hers went ahead, happened on the M25 to harefield, so i pushed it to one side to focus. but sent shivers down my spine when i heard she got the call.

Is it a feeling that a call will come soon?
I hope so.

expatinscotland · 22/08/2006 21:54

Yes! Here's hoping it's good news soon.

I do more so since I had a feeling I was going to crash and 5mins later did by a completely weird incident. I was more prepared.

Hope something positive happens soon.

Kidstrack · 22/08/2006 21:57

i beleive in lots of things and premonitions is one of them, i have a churning feeling in the pit of my stomach even if its good or bad, i hate it and dp hates it, we were invited to a friends wedding the other weekend and i had a horrible feeling and i didn't want to go, dp told me not to be silly so we went and a big family fued kicked off with fights everywhere, we quickly left, i had a feeling a close friend would be involved in a caar accident last year and it happened, thank god they were both fine, i have had to many to mention here but like you i try to push them to one side but it always happens

misdee · 22/08/2006 21:58

nemo, i also had that feeling on the day of our car accident 2.5years ago. havent had a car crash one since. have sensed a few things. also have lots of deja-vu experiences.

I've gone goosebumpy for you. I completely believe in these feelings. In my early pregnancy I was on my knees one day and was overwhelmed with a thought. From nowhere I grabbed my tummy and said out loud to myself (no one in the house at the time) "oh my god its twins". Weeks later my scan confirmed it and I think thats one of the reasons I burst into tears. This is the first time I've told anyone this because I thought the whole world would think I was loopy and they have plenty reasons to think that already!

Positive energy is strong, sending you my best.

god frumpy, if i had that feeling, i'd burst into tears too. twins scare me (sorry to parents of twins, but the thought of 2 the same age, noooo)

OP posts:
frumpygrumpy · 22/08/2006 22:13

Lol misdee, mine scare me even more now than they did when they were tiny!! (Just turned 2 and drive me tiptoeing straight to the catering box of Cadburys Fudge too many times in a day!!).

Good luck honey.

I'm just back online today, how is it going with Peter home?

SherlockLGJ · 22/08/2006 22:14

A post about twins and she posted twice, classic.

Jimjams2 · 22/08/2006 22:15

ahh misdee- do you know I've always been drawn to autism. I remember wathcing fascinated the first time I saw autistic children on TV, I remember standing in my lab saying "I shouldn't have done a PhD in mice I'm not interested enough I should have done one on autism" (5 years before having ds1), And when ds1 was a tiny baby I remember thinking "he's autistic". When he first started showing signs I ignored him thinking it was my obsession.

Will be thinking of you tonight, hoping the call comes soon.

BTW there is one person I know who- if she rang me and said "don't drive/fly/take a boat today- I wouldn't".

misdee · 22/08/2006 22:18

I got obsessed with ASD as well when pregnant with dd2. but i ignored it. and ignored it. and right nwo i dont whether to ignore it or not. i just thought i had a genious on my hands, well i do, she is years ahead in some areas

OP posts:
Jimjams2 · 22/08/2006 22:19

ha ha I thought I had a genious as well, especially when he was reading at 2 PMSL (hmmm one SLD/PMLD school later )

frumpygrumpy · 22/08/2006 22:20

Lol LGJ. So I guess double fudges are quite acceptable then?

misdee · 22/08/2006 22:20

she cant read, but is doing puzzles in dd1 age bracket, colour matched at an early age etc etc. CDC report places her at an almost age 6 level in some areas.

OP posts:
Jimjams2 · 22/08/2006 22:23

1st bithday part, ds1 videoed sorting balls into different coloured piles. And I had NO idea this wasn't normal I just thourhg he was terribly advanced

How's she finding Peter being home?

misdee · 22/08/2006 22:24

dd2 is finding it surprisingly easy, tho she does exclaim each morning 'he is still here!!!' dd3 is another matter.

OP posts:
Jimjams2 · 22/08/2006 22:27

aww well its stranger for ds3. Bless her. I can only imagine what ds3 would be like!

MrsSchadenfreude · 22/08/2006 23:32

Yes, absolutely, used to predict plane crashes with frightening accuracy when I was little (date, place, airline), but less so now. I was driving from Zurich to Vienna once, had horrible feeling that I was going to crash, so stopped at the border and put car on the train. I got attacked on the train by a drunk instead.

Fingers crossed, Misdee for good news for you.

wannaBe1974 · 23/08/2006 09:07

kind of. I have a friend who I've known she was pregnant before she told me, also she split up with her h and I knew, I had no reason to suspect as she had an apparently happy marriage. I have another friend who i suspect has split with her dh but as yet need to speak to her to confirm if my suspicions are right.

I've also had experiences where I've thought of people who I haven't seen or spoken to for ages, and something has happened to them, had a friend who I tried to call, having not spoken to him for ages, there was no answer, heart the next day that he'd been hit by a car and killed at around about the time I'd tried to call him.

Misdee hope you get the call soon x

EvesMama · 23/08/2006 09:14

i reg think of someone i havent seen in years only to see them within a few days?

something else that spooks me(very strange co incidence thing?) is that i always look at the clock at 11 minutes past nine (9.11)..both morning and night, everyday for about 4-5 months now??just glance to check time and always catch it..spooks me out

horseshoe · 23/08/2006 09:24
