Anyone else feel like they have jumped from summer to autumn overnight?

its horrible today. woke up and the heating had come on

Am wearing a fleece jumper as I type

It was quite nice here today, though cooler. I was with the kids in the park and it 'smelt' like autumn. Bring it on, I love autumn (the cold sunny days rather than the wet ones, admittedly..)

Weird though, cause this time last week me and dh were at a wedding and it was so hot that everyone abandoned the marquee and had a ceilidh on the lawn. How did it change so fast??

The weather will get better as soon as the kids go back to school, it's tradition up here in Scotland that you send you kids off in new tights, jumpers and coats and all of a sudden it's an Indian summer.

Autumn is my favourite season but I'd quite like there to be a little bit of summer left!
