phones - do you really give a toss abotu what model you have

god was chngin my phone ( the one thats been down the loo twice) at the carphone warehouse
it seemed to take a long time
is aid " iwant a new phone - it must be a NOkia and small"

the rest of em in there were barkign
i said to bloke " do you ever feel like sayign its only a bladry phone fgs?"

dp is nuts like that, ahd to have a brand new £400 phone (on contract so he didn't pay taht). Spent months researchign what he wanted, and then all he uses it for is talkign, texting, and the odd photo. The camera on it is good though, very handy to have a phone camera when you've forgotten the proper camera especially whent he kids do somethign funny or cute.
I got mine because it was pink! I love my pink phone, but they are rather common now. It was original when I got it.

I just got a new one, all I wanted was to change to a contract and a phone with a camera, but apparently they all have cameras now, narrowed it down to 3 phones and couldn't tell the difference so the man picked!

I have 2 - one is flaky and old and always works because it charges on hands free in the car. The other is my ironic phone - Dolce and gabbana (free on upgrade) - never charged and the ring tones are so trendy I can't even hear them! No idea about make of either.

Not fussed, but dh keeps changing it for me. I get really fed up with the ones where you have to press 13 button combinations to get to 'create a text'. If it's more than pressing 2 buttons I hand the thing back to him.

Myself I buy the cheapest when the battery goes crap.

Dh worked for a mobile phone company and always had the latest and smallest phone, and now he works in insurance he buys the broken flash phones from the company for next to nothing and gets them repaired. He's now got a nice camera phone and he got me one of those ones that's an MP3 player and a camera.

It's still in the box as I'm too scared of it!

I may have mentioned in the past that I do 3G (ahem). How could I have a rubbishy old 2G thing. It would be shameful.

I often go to the Nokia website and gaze at all the lovely phones that aren't available in Oz. Am planning a phone raid next time I hit the UK stores.

I have one of these
'Cos I need to be reminded of appointments, I need to store and contact hundreds of contacts, I Need to be able to surf the web on the move and it runs tomtom,takes pictures and video, plays all video I can rip dvds to it it is a media player,opens and edits word, excel, powerpoint......

all in one

oh and I love gadgets

DH also has an old Nokia (not as old as mine, but shamingly the same as his 71 year old father, hehe).

I don't get the latest models etc, but I do have a pink motorola razr.

I really like it, but do feel a bit when I have to ring the office from Court!

I hate the things. I have one but only use it for emergencies. I hate when your out with people having a conversation and theres one person sitting texting somebody else - sooooo rude!!
