I've never sold anything on ebay but have a load of videos to sell as our video player has packed up. Trouble is, because our video's packed up, I can't check them for faults.

Would it be OK to bundle them together and sell them with the disclaimer that I haven't been able to check them? Or is that asking for bad feedback?

TIA

yes make sure you put 'untested' in big letters!

Well, that would be ok flashingnose, if you made it very clear (ie in the title as well as in the description) but I would not expect many (or indeed any) bids that way.

An unscrupulous person could knowingly sell 20 duff videos like that and there would be no come back for the buyer at all, so not many buyers will risk it. Also, you always do tend to get one or two buyers who don't (or are not able to, maybe?) read the description and could leave you bad feedback as you say. I wouldn't do it myself, for all these reasons. Can you not borrow a friend's video to check them, or do you have a cash converters or similar near you? They will pay cash for old videos.

Hmmm, all good points, thank you. What a complete pain - guess I'll have to speak nicely to a friend with a working video!
