I don't think I have ever seen one. You can still get the traditional leather 'one handled' ones but they are expensive. these ones look good - not leather though.

Why do you want leather? Wouldn't a washable fabric one be more practical?

I wouldn't spend a lot of money on a school bag, especially one that's just for nursery. Take it from me, once they've fallen off the peg (quite often!) they spend most of the time on the floor, being kicked along!

DD2 is at nursery - she doesn't take a bag at all other than her lunch box.

And the other 2 are at school - they take their Book Bags which are supplied by the school.

Agree with Soupdragon; we have British Airways canvas bags, and swimming-type canvas bags I found in Charity shops for 50p or so. Also a little BobTheBuilder backpack; any of those.

ds2 uses a full - size fabric rucksack, inherited from his big bro, who inherited it from his dad. It's just used to store spare clothes

These are what continental children use, they are supplied by the school, but cost the parent about £50 each and they are compulsory ( in Basle)
