Mine looks as it did when I moved in 10 years ago - clothes in piles on the floor and a damp patch on the wall. Sure it'll get decorated one day when decide to sell it.

same fabric as PPh has in her (mch grander ) bed room weird eh?

And our kids share the same names(well not her dd's)

Wood floors, rugs, shelves with lots of seagrass boxes on them, clothes rails, yellow curtains, dishevelled and not quite the domestic and sensual haven everyone else is reporting

our walls are sort of cream and hessian I think it was called (paint colour that is not the sacky fabric). We have two blinds (I hate curtains) in dark terracotta and two paintings of boats which I absolutely cherish (family thing) each side of the bed. The pictures are in shades of green, blue with sort of warm pinky tones and a bit of terracotta too so they work well with the blinds and we keep the bedlinen neutral with a bit of blue or green thrown in on occasion. It's my little haven

Walls are barley gold (sort of rich deep yellow), curtains and bedlinen cream, furniture and accessories cream and gold.

Mine is painted Ivory, doesn't look as Ivory as I thought it would though. to be honest I hate it and would love to paint it again but I'm due baby #2 in 10 weeks time and it means moving the bed and it's a hard bed to move.

It used to be Lilac and I loved it but thought I'd go for a change, it took 4 coats of the Ivory paint to cover the Lilac, I should have taken it as a sign after the 2nd coat looked dodgy

Got Lilac curtains and a horrible pink carpet that came with the house that we haven't replaced yet.
Dd's room is painted Lilac and new babies room will be painted the same colour after it's arrived, can't paint it just now because then everyone will know what we're having, plus I can't be bothered painting.
