I wouldn't bother checking online tbh - computer inventories are only as good as the info put in them, so add up customer damages (stop opening the damn packaging, please), shoplifting, things not actually turning up that should have turned up or the wrong thing turning up instead and you can see how crap it is If there's about a million and one of them, you're probably OK though. Highlight of my evening is always some poor soul who's driven up from Brighton for one specific thing, which isn't actually there.

If it's important, ring. Ask to speak to the relevant department and get someone to actually check it's on the shelf.
