I don't really have a clue what I am talking about

What is Outline Planning Permission ?

What is it if it isn't outline?

What is the difference - why would you apply for PP twice?

I must be so thick

outline is a principle that house a building can be built on a site, usually it indicates single/multi story conditions, stuff like that, its not the actual design of the building that is for full planning permission
usually if u are buying a piece of land it should have opp, without it , you might get that, as the new owner.
it does add value to the land.

without it it might not even get OPP

sorry typing is terrible tonight

Katymac · 24/07/2006 22:36

OK so you pay twice

so you apply for OPP they say yes or no

if they say yes you get drawing done and apply for PP

will they automatically say yes - or can hey say no

I thought I would have to pay thousands for OPP - but it turns out to be about £250

So it might be worth gambeling that amount to get the right outcome

Yes very big

Maybe opening a nursery/daycare for/or in our local school

But they won't decide until late Sept - & I need to move faster (commercail implications)

So if I invest for the OPP, will it make the PP any faster?
