very true.

m dads disabled and he finds it very patronising. he would love to be able to go and help teach my younger brothers and my dc how to play football/tennis etc.

he certainly doesn't need a blody ad to rub it in for him.

I hate that advert. It starts off ok with cute little kids but then we get THE LECTURE. Just thinking about it is making me all cross.

waterfalls · 24/07/2006 14:41

Have you noticed the bit on the ad where 2 children are on a trampoline at the same time with no safety net? Good example to show other children!

southeastastra · 24/07/2006 19:43

whats it about? roughly

JessaJam · 24/07/2006 19:46

1st time I saw it it nearly made me cry! Even though i could see straight through all the "teach me how to play nicely with others" bollox- was obviously in a very hormonal moment!

JessaJam · 24/07/2006 19:47

southeastastra- its' a bunch of kids asking the camera to teach them to play sports in a kind of "if only we all knew how to do a drop kick there woudl be no more crime or poverty" sort of way.

TooTicky · 24/07/2006 19:48

As if they actually care! Anyway, they test on animals.

melpomene · 24/07/2006 22:23

They say something along the lines of "teaching your children to play sport is THE MOST IMPORTANT aspect of parenting." which seems somewhat questionable. It does imply that parents who can't coach children are somehow inadequate.
