I had a fabby time. Spoke to Sy earlier who told me I had left my dirty clothes in the back of the van So I am going to collect them tommorrow.

Hmmm the goss on Sy - well hes 34, single, has a son who lives with his mom in cornwall, Drives for a living and lives about 40 mins away from me. I was very impressed with how he handled all the stress, he never took it out on my once and always made me his first priority. Any ideas on how I can say thank you?

Police men were slightly bemused that I got changed into hotpants and vest and sunbathed in the doorway of the station (had started on the duty free by then!)

Well, I didnt have a clue what they were going on about and I was just stood there like a lemon, so I thought 'Sod it' and decided to make the most of it.

I think they thought I was a mad English woman. Sy just looked at me like I was crazy and then decided it was better than having 'some over emotion wench' with him

I couldnt see the point in getting stressed over it, and I thought the police men might have been kinder to me if I was only half dressed

Hes just called again.... he said that he had been telling his work mates about what had happened and thay had asked how I had coped with it - he said I was fab so they have decided I can be an honnerary (sp?) truck driver and am invited to one of their function things. He said that they found the whole sun bathing thing very funny. I so cant wait to go again.

I think I have been traumatised by this whole thing you know, had the wierdest dream last night ivnolving french policemen and porn.... was erm intresting!

I was strip searched and interrogated and sniffed over by scarey dog in Toulouse airport once,but don't think it was an arrest....

We were definatly arrested - that part I understood!

Were searched etc but luckily not strip searched - although with what i was wearing it would have been obvious if i was hiding anything

Cause we were in a marked up van with his company name plastered all over it and the police contacted them to varify details. Its ok though as he was due to start a new job this week anyhow.

thats ok, was a bit concerned for him, especially as he didn't know why you were arrested, seems a little unfair! arrested, fined, and then sacked! tough few days
