Apparently the fridge has now developed an anti-male force field

I've known for years that the dishwasher has a magentic force field around it which prevents my husband from putting dishes into it, as opposed to on top of it. I've learned to deal with it and sympathise with what must be a hugely frustrating phenomenon for my DH...

However, apparently the dishwasher, which sits opposite our fridge, has started to project it's magnectic force field over to the fridge. Weirdly, it allows my husband to open the fridge and get things out (particularly beer). But it seems to prevent him from putting anything back. Particularly things like milk, butter, creamy salad dressing etc which are likely to go off in the heat.

When he does manage to use his superhuman strength and breakthrough the force field to put something back in the fridge, he is just such a bloke about it. Last night I asked him to please put the left over salad back in the fridge. So instead of putting the tupperware lid back on top of salad, he just leaves the tupperware open with the salad exposed with the serving spoon still in it. Because as you know, having a chilled serving spoon is critical.

God, why are they so useless about things like this??

lol. ours does allow dh to put stuff back in but it also has some force that compels him to put back things that are completely empty and would be better put in the bin or recycling.

I would buy my own milk and label it, student style, and let his go off in the heat.

our cupboard doors are like that, dh manages to open them but for some strange reason they wont let him close them again.

arf! we have a greasy cat for just this reason. He's probably on half a pat of butter a day.

Apparently in our house if you put empty milk bottles in the sink, half fill them with water, then just leave them there they manage to rinse themselves clean and walk out of the front door to await collection. A while back he saw me putting them out and said "oh I didn't realise you did that" in tones of great surprise.
