Do you like these images or do you think they're crap ?

I'm considering this weird lens for my camera which lets you manipulate the point of focus and so create some unusual effects. I am somewhat intrigued by the images but they also f*ck with your head. I was wondering what you thought...

they rem,ind me of the pics in that film, is it the hole? Where they see blurry pics of themselves before they get brtually slaughtered!

my gut feeling is 'blegh..you are better than this stuff and nonsense'...

but then as i browsed a bit more i thought 'mmm.. some have a nice feeling''...but then 'some shots smack of adverts'

on balance id say...i think in the right hands they wouldnt be tooo bad.

For me it only really works with the girl on the swing.

Possibly viewing whole galleries of these unconventionally focussed images does them no favours IYSWIM. You know... splendid isolation 'n all that...

I wonder if my next photo album will contain a few weirdo ones of dd to give eveyone a headache, LOL...

some look as if they jolted the camera!
others are too staged for my taste and a bit arty farty

If you want to know if I like the effects... yes.
But would I spend money on it? No. I am extrordinarily stingy, but even if I wasn't, there are cheaper ways to do it.

That one with the trees was very dubious though. Same effect on my vision as being on the tube in this heat.
