or any other suggestions

Just think of the reduced UV exposure, essbee !

How about one of those big foil thingies people put across their windscreen when parked up ? That should help keep it cooler ?

Twiglett · 19/07/2006 08:28

I will never ever ever (never) have one of those grandma foil thingys .... well maybe next year

Think you're getting muddled up with Halloween, Fio!

Yes, I think my Sox will last. I'll take them (or rather it) when Autumn comes though and pack them (it) lovingly away.

SoupDragon · 19/07/2006 19:44

Saw this and thought of you, Twiglett

JanH · 19/07/2006 20:49

It "has a window so you can keep an eye on the contents" - I'm trying quite hard to imagine why you'd need to (unless you'd put something live in there)

littlemadam · 19/07/2006 20:56

Another vote for the window sox here! Even if you have air conditioning it stops the back seats from getting burning hot when you park in the sun. Very helpful people there too!!

I'm runing away from the laptop now so I don't buy those window sox, god I want to, they look great, but I have air con...................but the baby does get sunned on arrrrrrgggggggh run away

Skribble · 20/07/2006 23:19

I find it really hard to drive with those concertina foil things, it really keeps the sun off but I had to cut holes to see the road

suedonim · 21/07/2006 00:48

LOl at being like your 4yo, Fio! I'll CAT you as I think your email address has gone awol from my computer.

CorrieDale · 21/07/2006 20:33

Well, we bought those window sox on the basis of Soupy's recommendation. I say 'we', but it was just me because DH said they were a gimmick and wouldn't work. Ha! That's how much HE knows. DS was lovely & cool after our trip to Sainsbury's. Excellent product!
