What would be your favourite 'pick me up' pampering treat?

My mum (as you may know) is having surgery for breast cancer this week. However she is a wreck really, nervous anxious etc. I was wondering whether there would be some kind of treatment she might enjoy, although I don't think a full body massage would be something she would like. So any (not too 'far out' IYSWIM, she lives in a small town) ideas would be more than welcome please!

Manicure/pedicure? After having surgery, especially the kind she's having (), having soft hands and feet and pretty nails will give her a small lift, maybe?

Reflexology? It's very relaxing and involves nothing more than having her feet massaged.

JoMalone bath oils.

Thank you, will have a think about manicure/pedicure, she's always turned her nose up at it a bit when i have had it (thinks it is extravigant (sp) she's a bit like that!!). She loves all the alternative kind of things, so reflexology would be ideal, but I can't find one in town. I kind of wanted it to be something she could just pop along to, no big deal. Going to town tomorrow so will look for the bath oils and see how good they smell!

All booked in at the avenue clinic for the reflexology. Was able to give her the choice between indian head massage at a ladies house or the reflexology. I thought I was going to have problems trying to convince her to go for it but she was very pleased. Thanks again Enid.
