Did my Sainsbury's shop this arvo, put all the spent fruit from the 'fridge into a bag, put it in the bin and .... hey presto! one nearly jumped on my face! I gave such a shriek that dd2's face was white for about ten minutes. She said 'I thought you'd had a heart attack, mummy'.!!!!!

Is it just Oxford/shire?

TinyGang,

LOL! Think you've got them all covered. Except, just on the bring of not being able to fly 'cos of dd1, we stayed in a place in South Africa which was riddled with them. I asked H if they were cockroaches, and he said they weren't, just some local, unusual insects peculiar to SA. Only when we got home did he admit they were!

And why do they spray you with insecticide/something on the way home? Managed to escape that one as I was heavily pregnant, but does anyone know what they're spraying for, exactly?

Lol at the vague 'Oh just some local insect peculiar to SA..' then admitting the truth laterThat is so funny - except if you were there with them I guess!

Goodness knows what I'd make of the minibeasts in South Africa - I bet they're not so mini either I'd be in a dead faint most of the time!
