Hattie - TBH I am stunned that anyone would think that this culd happen here. I have seen nastiness, but that is a bit beyind the pale IMO.

I think I will stick to my naive veiw of the lovely fluffiness of my fellow MNers!

I see nothing wrong with your message at all misdee...the wording etc is absolutely fine...(When I saw thread title I imagined it was someone saying "do you want my liver? etc" !!!)
perhaps you should point out in a lovely friendly way to the moderator that organ donation IS recycling ( as per your earlier post)...maybe he/she just takes the job too seriously...?!

and fwiw if you had posted this on MN - as a newbie or name change - I don't think you would have been accused of trip trapping...

Misdee- forward all the good messages to your MOd and say that its their job to ensure that the group is not offended by anyones posts...clealry they aren't so bog off!

Do you have a Freecycle Cafe board? Our local Freecycle group started one - just a discussion forum but tends to be the same members as the main FC site so you know it is local.

We can mention anything on there and your post would have been fine and probably raised a good discussion on the subject.
