PLEASE READ EVERYONE, THIS IS A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL!

As some of you know, I was invited to a job interview in Kendal last week which meant me flying to the UK. I wasn't going to go, but these people made it possible and after hearing that I had the job, these are the people I need to thank!

To JanH for collecting me from the airport, for letting me stay overnight, for providing me with wine and lovely food (incl a brill chippy tea!), for driving me to Kendal, waiting whilst I went in for the interview, driving me back and then back to the airport! Thank you!

To Bubblerock for giving me some great, smart clothes to wear for the interview. Thank you!

To Marina for emailing me with tips and advice. Thank you!

To Custy for her support as always. Thank you!

To everyone for their help, support, advice and encouragement! Even those who I don't see eye to eye with, those who have argued with me! You make Mumsnet what it is!

The job will be based in Carlisle. It used to be in Kendal but I've asked for Carlisle as that's where we are heading.

We leave France on the 12th, job starts on the 24th (gulp!)

I now need a house in the Wigton or surrounding areas of Cumbria! HELP!

But yes, this is what makes Mumsnet great and I'm so glad to be a part of it! Hope I can return all the help given one day!

used to work in kendal and got married there, had my reception at the Castle Green?? hotel, fond memories (used to be a fab sandwich shop in the main square, they did the most yummie bagettes) aaahhhhh
