Blue camouflage print...

Does anyone know whether blue camouflage print actually has any place in the military? I know there's the standard green/brown for greenery and the sand colour for deserts and a white/grey combo for snowy conditions. But blue?? Where do they uise it? floating in the sea? Floating in the sky?

I think it's a royal navy thing. I used to have blue camoulflage trousers from the army and navy surplus shop. So if it's not army, it must be ...

According to army dh, it's very occasionally used for urban camouflage at night by non-British special forces.
He does however stress that nobody uses pink camouflage.

Oh, you've ruined the romantic image I had of my trousers being used by a size 14 sailor to hide themself from enemy fire whilst floating, shipwrecked, out at sea.

Pink camouflage could be well-used by a task force raiding the barbie aisle in Toys R Us.

"urban camouflage at night" pmsl. So, it is our duty to wear blue camouflage so that soliders can blend in with us?

Pink camouflage would be useful in the girl's area of Next too I think.
