Does anyone have any ideas for things to do in the Surrey area over halfterm?, we are going to dear old Bocketts Farm on Friday and may try our luck at the cinema although not sure if Looney Tunes or Tooth is appropriate for a 3.5 yr old

My dd1 has always enjoyed going to Wisley. Plenty of space to run around, and you can picnic at the tea rooms by the Hot house.

There's also Horton Park Farm in Epsom. At some garden centres I know, you can look at the plants, look at fish and rabbits, and have a go on the climbing frame. All for free. Then indulge in coffee and cake. You may even buy a plant!!

A popular treat for my dd1 is, and has always been, a walk to the local swings, then a wonder down to pond to feed ducks.

Mine's never been to the cinema, and she's 5.5. Don't think she could sit thru' a whole film.

Hope this helps.

Tillymint, that was my dad's pet name for me as a nipper - where are you from?
PS. Nanny & Grandad took our DD(4.5) & DS(nearly 3) to "Tuney Tunes" (aka DS) and they loved it (Nanny & grandad nodded off!)

Our 2.5 year old (then) loved Toy Story 2 and sat through the whole of it. And our 2 year old (now) loves Bugs Bunny etc. I think most 3.5 year olds would be well capable of watching Looney Tunes, as long as you expect the odd toilet break etc. Might be worth finding some Looney Tunes stuff on the telly just to make sure s/he likes it.
