Anyone done the British Citizenship test?

I'm South African and am married to a Brit. I want to apply for a British passport (because I'm sick of getting visas for everwhere I go) but I have to now take this darn 'Life in the UK' test where they ask stupid questions like: what are the young people of Britain concerned about?

Has anyone else done it? Are the multiple choice questions easy? I am taking in on Thursday and really need to spend more time preparing but it's all just so dull (particularly the bit about the government)

Hana, I pretty much thought the same way, until I decided that I was going to go back to OZ. So now I have decided to take it. (that makes no sense does it?)

but maybe gives you a ticket to come back if you ever decide to cori?
I never need visas to go anywhere in europe, maybe that's the difference

iCod , are you still around? Where does Father Christmas come from, officially?

I wanted to vote, and to be able to apply for certain jobs only open to EU nationals.

Also it gives you the option to live and work in other EU nationals should you desire to.

My mother is an EU national as well as a US national, and it does have certain advantages.

we have just found out all the dsses cna have canadian citizenship
are applyign asap

expatinscotland · 15/04/2007 22:19

I would apply straightaway, Ponce, because it can take ages.

My boss has a Canadian parent and she applied a couple of years ago and it took a few months to process.

hmm. I can already vote without it
thanks for letting me know
