won't the dentist do it for you, and you can pay him later? try pharmacy, they may do stop gap adhesive for it?

lunarx · 15/06/2006 12:18

i've done and made matters worse, i've lost the chipped piece :(

NEVER USE SUPERGLUE IN YOUR MOUTH. I'm afraid you can't repair a cap sucessfully, it will need to be replaced in full.

julienetmum · 15/06/2006 15:02

I did mine 14 months ago (2 months after my postnatal free dentistry ran out)

I just live with it as there is no way I can afford to even go to the dentist never mind have any work done.

lunarx · 15/06/2006 15:42

getting it replaced in full is not an option:( i wish now i still had the nice dentist i had in the US, he would let me pay as i could..

lunarx you can get dentistry on installments here

lunarx · 15/06/2006 16:12

private or nhs?

OP posts:
CountessDracula · 15/06/2006 16:13

both I think

ComeOVeneer · 15/06/2006 18:08

If you have an nhs dentist ask them if you can pay in installments (say £20 a week). If a patient is trustworthy (ie we know they will cough up the money, we do it at my practice).

lunarx · 16/06/2006 12:28

horrible luck finding an nhs dentist:(

oh well!
