Has anyone else's dh/dp had the 'snip'? Advice needed please!

Am pg with my third baby and dont want anymore after this. Dh has agreed that this will be the last due to personal reasons.

Just looking for some advice from anyone who has gone through with thier dh/dp having the snip.

Yep. DH had the snip when DS#2 was a month old. Funny how many people here seemed to go for it when baby no#3 was on the way or had already arrived. Prior to no#3 (accidental!!) I had always opposed it as I felt it shut the door on any more kids - once I found out that I was pregnant with no#3 I couldn't get him there quick enough!!!

No questions asked -but we had 3 kids and DH was 40. A work colleague here was asked to go away and think about it - he also had 3 kids but was only about 30 so I think the advice varies from surgery to surgery.

Yes it hurt! A lot! When DH came out he was fine, kept saying that he didn't know what all the fuss was about...until the anaesthetic wore off.... But he got over it and thought it was preferable to sex with a condom or none at all as I'd sworn I'd never go back on the pill again. It's just as good afterwards - even better maybe as there's no fear of unwanted consequences.
