Lucky you!! I'd buy your 36D's off you if I wasn't breastfeeding Grin

Chandra · 10/06/2006 15:42

ermh... went from a 34B (before pregnancy) to 38D, couldn't believe it, and TBH I was not very pleased about either...

noddyholder · 10/06/2006 15:43

LUCKY???I am shocked although having said that they look a lot smaller in the new bra and my clothes seem to fit better

Maybe I'm the only one in the world who still wants a huge cleavage then. I think its in the hope that it'd make the rest of me look smaller!

Auntymandy · 10/06/2006 15:46

mine got bigger after each baby. Thought b/feeding was supossed to shrink them!!

PrettyCandles · 10/06/2006 15:59

Mine also got bigger after each baby, didn't shrink after the first, but although they shrank a bit after the second they're still bigger than they used to be. I'm delighted! Not that I had weeny ones in the first place, but I think they're much more in proportion to the rest of me now. Grin

Pre-pregnancy I was a 34C. Now I'm a 34 DD and can't wear little t shirts anymore. Miss my small ones Sad

catsmother · 11/06/2006 11:43

I wore 36D for years until I got measured (god knows what they must have looked like) and found I was in fact a 36FF or G !!

I was amazed that my clothes seemed to fit better but very fed up for a long time that the only bras on (affordable) offer seemed to be very sensible with straps 2 inches wide ! They might be big but they are NOT droopy. 6 or so years ago I discovered Bravissimo which does nice bras for big boobs. Larger Debenhams also stock a "bigger" range .... stuff like Freya for example. The tide is slowly turning but I still get mightily peed off at being unable to buy cheaper bras for day to day use.

Piffle · 11/06/2006 11:46

Welcome to the big bappers club, I lost 3/4 of s stone in the last 8 mths and have gone from a 36E to a 34F - my cup runneth over
GRIM!

jampots · 11/06/2006 12:08

Bra measuring is a very interesting experience isnt it. Im 36GG and when we had dd measured a couple of months ago she was 32D Shock instead of the 32A/B she'd been wearing Blush

treacletart · 11/06/2006 12:38

I was measuring 36F in M&S but went to Rigby and Peller and discovered I'm actually a 32H - bit of a shock really, but wearing a bra that fits is a revelation. BTW have you checked out the new Bravissimo shop in North Street yet?

noddyholder · 13/06/2006 18:37

I am thinking of going to bravissimo instead I have all these new m&s bras and I think they are too big I bought six as I was desperate for new ones but have only taken the tags off 2 so will return them I think.

Boobsgonesouth · 30/05/2007 19:17

..I'd been wearing a 40DD..then found out that I'm actually a 36F...

norks stil head quickly south when I take the bra off though !!!

MABS · 30/05/2007 19:31

i was in 36c, but today found am 32f !

Darciesmum · 30/05/2007 19:31

i'd love a bigger cleavage pre pregnancy i was 34B now i'm 32A so not happy about it

tombley · 30/05/2007 19:52

I had this extraordinary experience a few weeks ago when I found that I was not a 36DD rather a 32F! Love my new bras though. They actually touch my body between the boobs rather than standing a few inches away. Got some lovely ones from Fantasie and Freya. Look slimmer too as a strange result.

PersonalClown · 30/05/2007 19:56

I discovered this the other day too. I'd been wearing a 36D when I am a 36E.
I'm a size 12 as well so I have the fun of trying to get tops to fit.
I'm going to have to save some money and have a splurge in Bravissimo.

Pollyanna · 30/05/2007 19:59

I was wearing a 36 or 34C and found out I am in fact a 32d! I qualify for Bravissimo now! (are their swimming costumes any good?)

MABS · 30/05/2007 20:24

bought 2 bikinis there today, seem to fit really well.

americantrish · 31/05/2007 08:01

i'm close, i'm a 34E now a days! i used to not like 'em, now they make me look thinner in the mid-section! =D

Flame · 31/05/2007 08:11

I need to buy more bras... bought 2 in R&P when I got measured... they were both drying yesterday so I thought I'd just put on one of my old ones - it hurt so much I ended up in a feeding bra!!!

Budababe · 31/05/2007 08:15

Went to Rigy & Peller in Dec and discovered that instead of the 46 B/C I was wearing I am actually a 40E!!!!!!

SO MUCH more comfortable.

Am about to try Bravissimo for my next splurge.

ggglimpopo · 31/05/2007 08:17

Here in France they don't measure you - they look at you, prod your ribs and then tut and say 34B or whatever.....
